Internet Explorer 7 has been on full release for about a week now and Mozilla have managed to jump on the proverbial bandwagon and release Firefox 2.0. If you haven’t already downloaded it, you can find it here:

http://getfirefox.com

I was originally writing a blog post on getting FF2 to run simultaneously with FF1.5 (for testing purposes), but Stupot beat me to it. So instead, I’m collating a short list of resources to help you get the most out of Firefox 2.0.

Tails hasn’t ported over to 2.0 yet (I had it already, but my upgrade has killed it). I hope they fix it soon :) In the meantime, greasemonkey with microformats discovery userscripts are a good option.

@ Frances: Ah - that would explain why it works in some places but not others. For instance, I have it running on FF2.0 on my Windows 2000 box here in the office:

Seems to work on Adactio (pictured) but not Upcoming.org!

Thanks very much for pointing that out! :)

Slightly OT, but nice to see your del.icio.us links section does the right thing in IE7 when you hover over…!

@ Andy: Great isn’t it? At last IE users can appreciate proper :hover functionality. Although, sadly, the Rentokil web developers are still waiting to receive updates to Win XP SP2 so that we can run IE7…

    Still, nevermind eh?
