Object-Oriented PHP Part 1: Definition

Posted Sunday 20th August, 2006

Following on from my posts ”Object-Oriented Concepts” and ”Object-Oriented Javascript”, I’m going to take a look at OOP in PHP.

Having spent the last few months writing this tutorial, I’ve realised that it’s far too long for a single post; so I’m splitting it into several to make it easier to digest. Here’s a quick summary of what I’ll be covering in each segment:

This Just in: Standards Work!

Posted Monday 14th August, 2006

As many of you will already be aware, I’m currently employed during the day at Rentokil Initial, a large multinational business services company, as senior web developer. My role includes recommending technical solutions and defining internal standards.

Sweet.

Why am I blogging this? Because I have nothing else left to do and thought I’d tell the world that, right now at least, I’m the happiest man alive.

Now all we need is for England to win the world cup…
